UnCruise Adventures Newsletter (Web Version)
As part of the UnCruise Adventures marketing team, I contributed regularly to email marketing campaigns, through idea generation, copy editing, and proofreading. This role increased during the summer of 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic’s devastation of the tourism industry made it necessary to reduce our team from eight staff members to four.
Each quarter, we disseminated an email newsletter featuring a personal letter from charismatic Owner and CEO Captain Dan Blanchard, company updates, and recipes from our chefs and pastry chefs. My responsibility was building the web version of the newsletter, where customers would find the full story after following links in the message arriving in their inboxes.
I built custom landing pages, tracking the success of B2B digital advertising campaigns by setting up custom redirects in Pardot, the B2B marketing automation arm of Salesforce. I used similar Pardot redirects to track downloads of digital sales tools regularly updated on our website.
