Several times a year, CyberWatch West distributed an email newsletter communicating its activities and accomplishments to member schools, National Visiting Committee members, and grant funding sources. The newsletter functioned as a marketing piece, raising awareness of cybersecurity education resources developed by CyberWatch West and increasing member participation in the consortium’s programs.

As the grant project’s Marketing and Communications Coordinator, I used MailChimp to prepare the CyberWatch West email newsletter, writing original content and repurposing pieces developed for the website or other communication channels. After receiving approval from CyberWatch West’s Director and Principal Investigator, I disseminated the newsletter through MailChimp mailing lists.
